Customs broker permit user fee for 2027: $190.88 per permit, due by 2027-01-29
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) gives notice that, per 19 CFR 111.96(c), the annual user fee for each customs broker national permit (held by an individual, partnership, association, or corporation) for calendar year 2027 is $190.88 (FAST Act inflation adjustment; previously announced in 91 FR 48398 / CBP Dec. 26-14), due no later than January 29, 2027; a national permit not paid by that date is revoked by operation of law (19 CFR 111.45(b), 111.96(c)). Payment via the eCBP portal is strongly encouraged (first-time users must create a Login.gov account); remittance to the processing center per 19 CFR 24.22(i) is also accepted. The 2026 fee was $185.38 (90 FR 55319). A broker service user fee only — no HTS tariff-rate changes.
