White House releases U.S.-China Board of Trade 30-FOR-30 framework and product lists
The U.S.-China Board of Trade (chartered at the May 2026 Beijing summit, operationalized during the Sept 25 state visit) released the 30-FOR-30 framework on 2026-09-27: each side will consider reduced tariff treatment for $30 billion of non-sensitive goods — U.S. imports from China: small appliances, toys, holiday decorations, children's car seats; U.S. exports: agricultural goods, fish/seafood, logs and wood products, cosmetics, medical devices. Note: these are lists under consideration (implementation via each side's domestic legal process; U.S. side pending the Federal Register) — no tariff rates change today and no effective date exists yet; the Radar tracks FR follow-through.
